Perhaps your family is tired of looking at all the furniture piled up in your garage and endless paint supplies. Our vendor program is different than typical resale stores as we provide an open merchandising plan. This means that you don’t lease a booth from us and aren’t limited on a designated space. Instead, we mix and match our consignment items with vendor items to create a stunning showroom that allows our customers to better visualize how items may work in their homes.
Vendor Program Options
Unlimited Option – (Tier 1) This program is for the high octane, super production, vendor, or those who have many larger pieces of furniture. If you love to paint furniture or are a serious flea market flipper, then this could be the perfect option for you. Bring in as many pieces as you like, and pay the higher of $250/mo or 25% of your sales.
Flat Percentage Option – (Tier 2) Afraid to commit to a monthly fee but still want to do high volume or multiple large pieces at a time? Then this is the choice that may work best for you. It’s also a great place to begin for many vendors. With this option, you’ll still be able to bring in unlimited pieces, including both painted or vintage furniture and smalls, but instead of paying 45% like our consignors do, you’ll pay a flat 35% of your sales each month. This option requires you to provide us with inventory lists of new items when you drop off your pieces.
Smalls Plus Option – (Tier 3) This is a great option for those who don’t have a lot of time to keep up with a lot of demand, perhaps you are beyond hobby, but not quite ready for prime time yet. With this package you are limited to the number of items that you can have in stock at any time, particularly larger items. Just like a booth, however, you can bring in more when it sells. This option is only $100/mo plus 10% of sales.
Being a vendor at Linen & Rust Home Furnishings is fun simply because of the atmosphere, but let’s face it, we all love big, fat, paychecks! Our vendors are paid once a month on the 5th. Pay period is the first day of the month, through the last day of the month, for the prior month. Any monthly fees for your plan are automatically deducted from your paycheck.
We know that just like any business, you want to stay in touch with what’s going on with sales. This is why we use Traxia Simple Consign software. This allows us to update you in real time on all of your sales. Once you’ve turned in your completed vendor agreement, we will set you up in our system, providing you with an online login and password, where you can check on sold items at your convenience.
